Museum Place Development Group Selects Co-developer and Architect for Urban Development
Fort Worth, Texas – Museum Place Development Group President Richard Garvey announced today that Tony Landrum has been named co-developer for the Museum Place development in Fort Worth’s world-renowned cultural district. Garvey also announced Mark Wolfe of James, Harwick and Partners (JH&P), an architectural firm in Dallas, has been named architect of record for the development.
“We are excited to have Tony and Mark join the Museum Place development team,” said Garvey. “After several interviews, we selected Tony and Mark based on their expertise, outstanding recommendations and overall enthusiasm about the project and what our goals are for the development and the importance of the cultural district.”
Landrum serves as co-developer of the Museum Place projects and is responsible for all aspects of the development. He is president of TLCurban, a Fort Worth based corporate and commercial real estate investment firm, and serves on the Downtown Fort Worth, Inc., board of directors. During the past twenty years, he has been involved in urban projects valued at more than $550 million and completed more than $1 billion in real estate financings and $1.2 billion of real estate sales. Most recently, Landrum served as the developer of The Tower in downtown Fort Worth, the first mixed-use high-rise developments in Texas and the tallest residential community in Tarrant County, and the Chase Bank Building, in conjunction with Sundance Square.
Wolf and his team at JH&P first worked on the Museum Place development in 2002, assisting with feasibility studies, land-use planning and urban design while the property was being assembled. Wolf is vice president and principal of JH&P, a full-service architecture, planning and urban design studio established in 1979. He served as co-chair of the City of Dallas Urban Design Advisory Committee for three years until 2001 and as a member of the AIA/Dallas Advisory Panel in support of the Chapter’s Trinity River Position/Policy initiative.
When complete, Museum Place will be a pedestrian-friendly urban development, with public plazas, open spaces, abundant on-street parking and wide sidewalks lined with trees. Multiple restaurants, a boutique hotel and small cinema will help generate a lively street scene. Museum Place Development, Group, Ltd., developer of the project, is an affiliate of JaGee Holdings, LLP, a Fort Worth company that owns and manages more than one million square feet of retail and industrial real estate.
