Jack Breard
UCR Urban
President/Partner
As the President of UCR Urban and a partner in UCR, Jack Breard brings leadership and a wealth of experience to the table, particularly in lifestyle and specialty tenant representation and project leasing. His work on such exceptional projects as Southlake Town Square, Mockingbird Station, The Shops at Legacy, Eldorado Plaza and Addison Circle, has earned him a reputation as a hands-on professional, contributing to every stage of the process, from site planning to merchandising to grand opening. Over the course of his 15+ year career, Jack has fostered long-standing relationships with tenants and landlords alike. As a tenant representative, he aspires to be a natural extension of his client’s real estate department, learning the retailer’s needs from a national perspective all the way to the back-of-house. This insight into the tenant’s needs is exactly what makes Jack a valuable member of the landlord’s team, too. For all of UCR’s clients, Jack understands that their success is UCR Urban’s success.
Jack is currently representing these clients throughout Texas, and many in multi-state regions: Kirkland’s Home, The Limited brands, including Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body, The Children’s Place, Eddie Bauer, New York & Company, Aveda, Rockfish Seafood Grill, and Consolidated Restaurants Operations. His current projects include The Shops at Highland Village, Park Lane, and Museum Place.
Jack started his real estate career with Hopkins Shafer Company in 1990, where he first worked with Mickey Ashmore. He joined UCR as Director of Marketing in 1995, later becoming vice president. In 2000, Jack left UCR to co-found a boutique brokerage firm, City Commercial Realty, catering specifically to the needs of “lifestyle” tenants and specialty projects. Seeing the growing demand for this expertise, and the obvious synergies that could be realized by joining their respective talents and resources, Jack and Mickey agreed that Jack should lead UCR Urban forward, beginning in May 2006.
Jack holds a B.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University. He was born and raised in Dallas, where he lives with his wife, Debbie, and their four children. In his limited free time, Jack is an avid fisherman, and also enjoys traveling, hunting, running and golf.
